Personal Thoughts

Many thanks to all of you who have offered me so much sympathy and support during the time of my father’s illness and death in 2004 and during my mother’s illness and death in 2005. I lost many good friends – and my parents are two of the best of those. I mourn them all.

        Most people only have one or two life-changing experiences in their lifetimes. I have already had at least four:  entering a forensic competition when I was in 8th grade;         spending four months in Wildwood NJ before my senior year of college; making my         first LIFE program in 1982 (Celebrate LIFE!); spending two weeks studying at         Oxford; and now I can’t wait for the next one!

*

Sometimes I wonder how there is possibly room in my head for all the people who have touched my life. I do know, however, that there will always be room in my heart for every one of them.

*         And, of course… To communicate is to begin to understand.
